Whew this was one crazy trip. Madison,my best friend, and I really wanted to go to EFY so we told her parents how we were gonna summer of 2010. Little did we know that there were going to be 2 spots for girls left at Cedar City August 3-8. We got so excited. I called my dad he said I could go. Within 2 hours of discussing EFY with Sister Goldthorpe , we were signed up for EFY. Before going to EFY we headed down 4 days early to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa G in St. George. While in St. George we visited many places and saw Footloose the musical. Madison and I had a favorite guy from the play, his facial expressions were just hilarious. When we arrived at EFY on monday morning we soon figured out that our Footloose guy was registered at the same cedar city efy session as us. His name was Tino. We met so many amazing people at EFY. Not to mention that experience matured us so much spiritually. I got sick on the third night but I really didn't wanna go home so I just stuck out and thank goodness I did. This trip was one I will always remember and I am so grateful of the people I met, experiences I gained, and for Madison sticking by my side through it all. (:
